Manuel Schneidmiller Post 154 Flag Program
Post 154 promotes an active flag education and sales program as part of the Americanism pillar of the American Legion. This includes teaching and modeling flag etiquette to school children and the community, providing high quality flags for sale - which allows us to give the schools free flags to replace wore and tattered ones when needed. Post 154 provides an Honor Guard for special events and parades, and military funerals when requested. Our Post also goes into the schools in our community to teach when and how a flag is raised and lowered, how and why it is folded as it is, and how a flag that has served its purpose is officially retired.
